Fresh oysters, crab, and light fish are perfect fare for Miami in the summer. Here is Haute Living’s guide to not only some of the best in town, but also some of the smartest ways to get your seafood fix each day of the week.

1 The River Oyster Bar

Located in the heart of Brickell, hiding in plain sight is The River Oyster Bar, one of downtown's trademark spots for delicious seafood. Chef David Bracha has created an eclectic menu, product of a modern take on traditional coastal recipes, and has made a name out of the bar's 'oyster happy hour': half shell raw oysters at half price every day of the week, from 4:30pm-7pm.

2 Mignonette

Go for the casual nautical ambiance, and stay for the incredible assortment of oysters, clams, and fish. Down-to-earth Mignonette provides excellent service and even more excellent dishes, both "plain" and "fancy". To satisfy your cravings, come in on a weekday from 5:30pm-7pm and enjoy their $2 oysters, or special dishes like $9 Steamed Middleneck Clams, with salami, ham, mortadella, muenster, and an olive spread.

3 Midtown Oyster Bar

Right in bustling midtown is the aptly named Midtown Oyster Bar, offering a diverse menu with white fish ciabatta sandwiches as well as salmon tiraditos, and of course oysters. The chic yet humble eatery will turn a casual bite into a mouthwatering experience during their daily happy hour, running from 4pm-7pm, which includes half price oysters and a decadent $32 paella for two people.

4 Estiatorio Milos by Costas Spiliadis

No conversation about Miami seafood can go on without the mention of Milos, the elegant greek restaurant just off Alton that has everyone raving about its Mediterranean dishes and outstandingly fresh seafood. Try everything from their Bigeye Tuna Tartare to Nova Scotia Deep Sea Lobster Pasta in their $25 daily lunch menu.

5 LIQUE Miami Waterfront Restaurant and Lounge

LIQUE may boast an exciting waterfront lounge, but its true value rests in its $77.77 'All You Can Eat Alaskan King Crab Menu.' Instead of going dancing on a Tuesday night out, dare to stop by this North Miami Beach spot and challenge yourself to unlimited King Crab from 6pm-12am.
