Brickell is fast becoming Miami’s nightlife hub with hot bars, El Tucan cabaret, and now, Blume, the first true nightclub in the district. The 5,000 square-foot club opened on Saturday, October 17, to a bevy of chic young things looking for some downtown fun.
Co-owner Jose Manuel Vasquez welcomed the clubs first guests along with fellow associates of the hospitality company V&E Restaurant Group, who own Segafredo Brickell and Cafe Americano at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Internationally famous deejay, DJ Crazibiza, spun for the crowd while a performance by singer and recording artist Dragonfly took people to another level (The fiery redhead recently performed on a single by Bob Sinclair with Pitbull, and Fatman Scoop.) The show was complete with dancing girls in costume and a life-size flower that bloomed and wandered the room to guests’ delight.
The club’s interiors were designed by luxury architecture and design firm Linus Design, who created a captivating interior with tropical, floral motifs prefect for club, which has a lush, Garden Bar Terrace making the outdoors and nature a reoccurring theme. Of course, this being Brickell and a fun, new nightclub, they also have a grandiose 16-foot LED chandelier that brings fun and more than a bit of glamour to the classically decorated interiors.
The DJ was framed by diamond-shaped LED panels using a state-of-the-art Dynacord Alpha System, which is known to be one of be best in the industry and the gold standard in nightlife sound
