Voices For Children Kicks Off 30th Anniversary Gala at Harry Winston in Bal Harbour

The Voices For Children Foundation kicked off their January 17th gala with a small but swanky gathering at Harry Winston in Bal Harbour. It was a cocktail reception headed up by Voices for Children advocate, Yolanda Berkowitz, who along with her husband Jeff Berkowitz, is a Golden Fan Guardian. Attendees included Berkowitz’s fellow Voices philanthropists, Gail Appelrouth, Carmen Bradley, Jean Marie Echemandia-Kouri, Blain and Jill Heckaman, Lisa Heiden, Nelson and Carolina Hincapie, Jodi Orshan, Leyla Portela, Nata Rikami, Carole Seikaly, and Laurence Stott.

Harry Winston, the esteemed fine jeweler and watchmaker, further cemented their partnership with the cause by not only hosting the reception, but also announcing it would be the presenting sponsor of Voices For Children’s 2015 “Be A Voice, Feel the Passion” gala. This will mark the second year the brand has partnered with Voices For Children Foundation for their gala, which will surely be a memorable one as it is Voices’ 30th anniversary. The gala includes, a cocktail reception, silent auction and dinner and dancing by sponsors Haute Living, Grey Goose and Mandarin Oriental . The evening will be emceed by Paul Castronovo and be co-chaired by Christian and Brittany Slater.

Voices For Children is  a not-for-profit organization that raises funds to help ensure that abused, abandoned and neglected children in the Miami-Dade County foster care system each have a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem and that financial assistance and other resources are available for their health, educational and social needs.
