Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, has announced the promotion of Gabriele Kurz (Gabi) from Wellbeing Chef at Madinat Jumeirah to Executive Wellbeing Chef at Talise Wellness, Jumeirah Group.
Chef Gabi will now be responsible for the development and implementation of the Talise Nutrition concept across all the Talise operations and in Jumeirah’s hotels. Talise Nutrition provies a range of organic, healthy food and beverages created to suit individual requirements. This carefully created cuisine is devised to help people stay in shape.
A long and impressive career working in healthy cuisine in the Middle East and Germany, after she joined Madinat Jumeirah in 2007 as Chef de Cuisine, she developed the concept for a fine dining restaurant specializing in wellbeing. She has since expanded her role and in 2011 was promoted to Resort Wellbeing Chef of Madinat Jumeirah where she created nutritious meals using only organic and plant-based ingredients in the resort’s many restaurants.
With Talise being at the forefront of the Middle East’s spa industry, we can only but look forward to Chef Gabi’s increasing presence in healthy eating in Jumeirah’s various wellness centers.
