Haute 100 Update Miami: Dwyane Wade’s Life Story To Become A Sitcom on Fox

The Fox television network will be debuting a new sitcom based on the life of Miami Heat’s  Dwyane Wade. The sitcom tentatively titled, Three The Hard Way, was inspired by Wade’s memoir and best-selling book, A Father First: How my Life Became Bigger than Basketball. The 30-minute sitcom will be about the life of a single parent and star athlete named Daryl Wade that raises his two young sons. According to a news release, “Wade gets full guardianship of his two young boys and finds himself, along with his entourage of friends, parenting by committee.”

Ben Watkins, writer for Burn Notice, is set to write the script and executive produce the sitcom along with Wade’s new production company, ZZ Productions. Many people are already wondering who will play the NBA star in the new sitcom. “I haven’t figured that out yet,” Wade said. “But I’m sure it will be someone very handsome.” People have also been wondering if his actress girlfriend Gabrielle Union will have some involvement. “She might have a small role,” Wade said. “You never know.”
