Toni Braxton returned to the stage Friday night — her first public performance in Las Vegas since her residency ended — with a loud and proud proclamation of “I love you, Las Vegas!” Her performance Friday night at The Pearl inside Palms found the songstress with her deep, sultry vocals covering the stage with dance moves and audience interaction. She didn’t miss a beat as she belted out tunes including “You Mean The World” and “Another Sad Love Song.” With costume changes aplenty, Braxton put on the type of good feeling, energetic show the audience came to see.
Before the show, Braxton’s sister and recording artist Tamar Braxton, who also stars with Toni on the WE television show Braxton Family Values, took photos with fans in the audience. It was announced at the show that Tamar would be the special opening act at The Pearl for the previously unannounced John Legend show Nov. 30.
