The 2012 Hong Kong International Art Fair

Solidifying its status as a market leader in contemporary Asian Art, Hong Kong is preparing for a prolific season for art with the Hong Kong International Art Fair, which will run from May 17-20 with a champagne preview on May 16.

Established in 2007, the Hong Kong International Art Fair (ART HK) will bring together 266 galleries from 39 international territories for the event’s fifth edition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. ART HK is an important platform for networking in the international art community as leading collectors, curators, artists and galleries from across Asia and the rest of the world come together over three days.

In addition to the slew of the art industry’s biggest names, the Fair will be accompanied by a VIP program of events showcasing the best that Hong Kong has to offer culturally as well as socially and an extensive talks program featuring a world class line-up of speakers.

Returning galleries at ART HK include: Vitamin Creative Space, Long March Space, The Pace Gallery, Pearl Lam Galleries, Anna Schwartz from Melbourne, Marian Goodman Gallery, Acquavella Galleries Inc, Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin, Galleria Massimo de Carlo, Marianne Boesky Gallery, L&M Arts as well as London’s Hauser & Wirth, White Cube, Simon Lee, Gagosian and Sadie Coles HQ.

New entrants include Hong Kong’s Edouard Malingue and Sarthe Fine Art, New Delhi’s Latitude 28, Beijing’s Pin Gallery and Japan’s Koyanangi.
