The polo season’s second 26 high-goal tournament championship final is March 25.

The second leg of polo’s Triple Crown, the USPA Piaget Gold Cup, experienced a few upsets this week at the International Polo Club Palm Beach.

Fresh off its Royal Salute C.V. Whitney Cup title, Valiente I lost to Alegria, 8-7. Alegria had bounced back from its tournament opening 11-10 loss to ERG, which remained unbeaten on Saturday with a 16-3 rout of La Ensenada.
