London loves a pop up – a bar, restaurant or retail outlet that occupies an unused building for a brief period of time. Haute Living London lets you in on three pop ups, that are rocking our world right now
Created by the manufacturers of the famous liquer, this Portland Place pop up looks set to be the most stylish speakeasy in town. DJs will be playing throughout Prive’s rooms, whose decor has been designed by Dita Von Teese – expect chaises longues and vintage armchairs. Rumour has it that Von Teese will be attending the opening night on November 29.
Canteen’s pop up restaurant in Covent Garden, is the place to be on Thursday nights next month. Guest chefs – take a bow Angela Hartnett and Mark Sargeant – will be displaying their culinary expertise.
The Pudding Parlour
Passionate about puddings? Us too, which is why we’re loving the pop-up Pudding Parlour at The Athenauem. Forget counting calories: the pastries and brownies baked by the resident pastry chef are worth piling on the pounds for.
