Carlos Santana may have ended his residency in Las Vegas, but that doesn’t mean who won’t make return concerts. Last night, Santana returned to Las Vegas to perform an encore performance of his show, Supernatural Santana: A Trip Through the Hits at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel. The concert was the first of three encores through Sunday night.
His heart is still with the city. Santana once again partnered with Three Square Food Bank to help gather food and cash donations for the hungry this Thanksgiving season. For every $1 donated, Three Square can provide three meals to Southern Nevadans in need. Concertgoers who bring five nonperishable food items or make a $5 donation to the nonprofit will receive a coupon for a free drink at LTO and $10 in free slot play at Hard Rock Hotel. Representatives from Three Square were on hand before and after each performance to collect donations from participating fans.
After inspiring and wowing audiences at The Joint during the show’s two-year residency, Santana performed a fluid set list including classics “Oye Como Va,” “Black Magic Woman,” “Evil Ways” and “Maria Maria.” A favorite among fans and critics alike, each show explores a unique angle on the band’s repertoire to create an unparalleled experience for the audience.
