Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Exhibition at the Met Extends Its Dates and Hours

Since May 4, appreciators of high fashion and art have flooded through the doors of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art to peruse the late Alexander McQueen’s Savage Beauty exhibition. Organized by the Costume Institute at the Met, the exhibition will now be open to the public for an additional week – now ending August 7 – allowing for die-hard fans to continue to visit, while allowing busier visitors more of an opportunity to catch the phenomenal exhibit before it leaves the Met.

The museum will also be introducing Met Mondays with McQueen, a program to offer new and additional gallery hours beginning June 6. The Met is also offering visitors who purchase tickets an extraordinary opportunity for special viewings on Mondays when the Museum is closed to the public, as well as a free exhibition Audio Guide. On Tuesdays through Sundays until the end of the exhibition, Museum Members are granted express entry, bypassing the lines to enter Savage Beauty.

Do not miss out on this amazing opportunity to see McQueen’s greatest works and to pay homage to the late master of fashion. For more information or to purchase tickets, visi www.metmuseum.org/alexandermcqueen.
