Do you have a special place in your heart for the Winery Restaurant? Having gained numerous awards and becoming a local favorite, the restaurant is hosting a Valentine’s Day prix fixe that’s sure to have your heart (and stomach) swelling. Named for Chef Yvon Goetz’s catch phrase, the “Oh Baby” menu’s perfect pair is the wine selection chosen by Sommelier & Managing Partner William Lewis.
The prix fixe menu, which will be offered alongside the regular dinner menu, will be served Friday Feb. 11-Monday Feb. 14 for $89 and includes an appetizer of seared rare Ahi tuna with avocado, mango, cucumber tower, cilantro-orange vinaigrette followed by a choice of Kobe style beef carpaccio with fingerling potato and French bean salad, parmesan chip and black truffle vinaigrette or the sautéed wild white shrimp with roasted red pepper and fava bean risotto and a pinot noir reduction. Or for the seafood-savvy, the Maine scallops, Ahi tuna and mango tartare with wasabi caviar vinaigrette or for the traditionalist, the Winery signature salad.
Entrees include New Zealand ostrich served with mustard spaetzle, sole with polenta and buerre blanc, a classic filet served with bordelaise sauce and potatoes or lobster accompanied by prime filet and prosciutto wrapped asparagus; and each meal finishes with a choice of four desserts. So whether you or your sweetheart has a sweet tooth or craving for chocolate, creme brulee or crepes, there’s something for both of you. The menu will be offered at dinner service and reservations are suggested.
