This morning, 19 chefs from the Bellagio, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Las Vegas kicked off the event with a series of sculptural interpretations of the event decked out in pastries, chocolates and sugars.

Bon Appétit sponsors the four-day fete. This year, look for several new events, such as Eating Las Vegas, a culinary conversation with Las Vegas’ top food critics John Curtas, Max Jacobson and Al Mancini at the Bellagio. While they dish on the 50 essential restaurants from their book, “Eating Las Vegas,” you can dine on small plates from top Bellagio restaurants on Saturday, May 7.

During ¡Que Viva España! with Julian Serrano at Bellagio, you can go on a culinary journey through Spain on Friday, May 7.

Steve Wynn joins the Sinatra family to host an exclusive, wine-lavished evening celebrating the inaugural release of “Come Fly with Me” — the 2007 Sinatra Estates Cabernet Sauvignon, on Thursday, May 5. Go vegetarian with Viva Las Vegan, where celebrity chef Tal Ronnen has created vegan meals for the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres. He shares his Wynn and Encore creations during a tasting on Saturday, May 7.
