As Palm Beach gears up to celebrate its hundredth birthday, Haute Living made the trip up North to get the scoop on how the glitzy island plans to fête the occasion. Of course it’s only fitting that I’d gather my information from the very best sources, so I caught up with Shamin Abas and David Sabin, of Shamin Abas Public Relations to take the stroll down Worth Avenue and talk aging with grace. The pair of industry insiders are so connected ‘round those parts, that it’s hard to walk a block without stopping for them to introduce you to some passer-by or another, Read: A slew of heavies in varying fields but all equally excited about the upcoming centennial.
What I learned was exciting, to say the least, and of course the celebration will be one of massive proportions; but most interesting to this Fashion Director was the news that most all the superb retail outlets lining the Avenue are doing their part to celebrate by launching exclusive-to-Palm Beach, Centennial offerings. From jewelry boutique, Alex and Ani to Gucci, brands are releasing limited edition treasures that one can only find east of the bridge.
