Dori's World: Fashion's Night Out

Vogue sent us a Fashion’s Night Out taxi to take us around all night. Lizzie Tisch was the team captain, and she loves that captain title. We started at the Regency, of course. I mean where else would we start our evening? I had Lizzie Tisch and Hillary Tisch with me as well as Emily Ford and Kim Kassel.

Then we were off to Carolina Herrera, where they had this great picture booth set up. Then off to Dolce & Gabbana for Naomi and Anna Wintour, socialite from Turkey Ozlem Onal and Rufus Humphrey from “Gossip Girls,” Denise Basso and Michael and Jessica from Bismark. I saw Eva Lorenzotti and Sonja Morgan, Roald and Nazanin Smeets. At Lanvin I saw Julie Macklowe.

The we were off to Emily Ford’s friend who made portraits of her, Beth Blake, Alex Lind and Cena Jackson. Next stop was David Webb to see Natalie Leeds and Jennifer Jaines and Cat Kohen and Christian Leone and Alvin Valley. Then we were off to Roger Vivier, where two of my favorite stylish girls Coco Bradalini and Lauren Santodonmingo were holding court with Leighten Meister and Carolyn Seiber. Next stop was Pucci where I saw Dasisey Canovas and Adolina Wong. Then of course my two spots Jack Vartanian, love my jewelry, and then of course Valentino. Nicky Hilton, Lizzie Tisch, Anita Ko, Hillary Tisch, Jenny Cohen, Inga Rubenstein and I walked in just in time to rock the part. Erica Reid walked in with her kids and Minty Mellon, my close friend Matthew Mellon’s daughter and Nicole Mellon’s step daughter. Carlos Souza and June Haynes, Aliza Zelin and Ashley Calandra and Judy from Valentino really made this poker night Valentino party rock.

Then we were off to see Brian Atwood and Robert Verdi at Bergdorf, then a stop at Diane von Furstenberg. It was then time to go to the Larry Gagosian dinner that Larry and Shala were hosting at Baltazar for the artist Dan Colen. Great food always there. Inga Rubenstein, Minica Mitro, Alberto Mugrabi, Stavros Narcos, David and Lesley Schulhof, Greg Hymowitz, Dasha Zukukha, Donna and Douglas Taylor, Sasha and Gemila Bauer. Then I was off to Don Hill’s for a party for Iggy Pop thrown by Dasha Zhukova. MK Olsen, Gwen Stefani, Eddie Winston Churchill, Charlotte Dellal, Richard Saxs, Sante Dorazio, you name it they were there.
