Dubai’s renowned luxury hotel chain, Jumeirah will soon launch a new contemporary lifestyle hotel brand. Scheduled to open later this year, Venu hotels will have strong local roots and is currently negotiating with developers who have properties in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The Jumeirah group presently owns 11 hotels which serve as luxurious havens for business and leisure travelers. It also plans to have 30 hotels by 2013 with 10 new locations in Shanghai, Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi expected to open within the next 18 months.
The option of a “lifestyle brand” is a positive take for brand such as Jumeirah which needs to expand its leisure portfolio in order to gain more clients in desire for a luxurious and enriching escape.
The Jumeirah group was launched in 1997 as a luxury hospitality group. In Dubai it includes the renowned Burj Al Arab, the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Jumeirah Bab Al Shams Desert Resort and Spa. Here in Dubai, we are looking forward to the new addition.
