Dori’s World: Isaia Summer Soiree
Luxury Italian menswear brand Isaia hosted its now infamous annual summer soiree this past week for 350 of the brand’s favorite fashion industry insiders. Big retail executives, VIP clientele, socialites and celebrities were there including Elaine Wynn, Jason Binn, Gianluca Isaia, Laura Poretzky, Mariah Chase, Julian Steinberg, Julia Moore, Derrill Osborn, Marquis Jets Ken Austin, Mario Biso, publisher Steve De Luca, and Isaia’s U.S. president Jim Shay. Up and coming event designer Bryan Johnson transported guests to a scene out of the movie “La Dolce Vita” with authentic Italian cuisine from Sirio Maccioni’s Osteria Del Circo, imported lemon trees, vintage gelato carts and fabulous Neopolitan inspired decor, all of which played out on ISAIA’s massive 3,000-square-foot terrace overlooking the Manhattan skyline. Around dusk emerging rock star Diego Garcia and his band serenaded guests with his new single “You Were Never There.”
