July may be nearly over, but Hotel Valley Ho is out to prove there’s still plenty of summer left to enjoy. Offering deals and packages on rooms, food, spa treatments and more, HVH can provide locals with one seriously fun staycation.
Stay
Feel like maybe a long weekend is in order? Book three consecutive nights at Hotel Valley Ho and the fourth night is free, as part of the “4th Night On Us” package. Plus, guests can enjoy a host of fun activities at the resort, including the OH Pool; Happy Hour Fridays, featuring Elvis Before Noon; Session Saturdays, featuring the DJ P-Body; food and drink specials; and Tiki Sundays at Trader Vic’s. The “Stay Three/Fourth Free” package is valid for stays through December 31; however, the summer events wind down at the end of September.
Also, valid just through September 6, the “$555 No Surprise” package offers guests a chance to snag some excellent accommodations and services for 35 percent off the normal rates. Enjoy two nights in a signature guest room, two drinks upon arrival, choice of two 60-minute spa treatments, a three-course prix-fixe dinner for two at the island-inspired Trader Vic’s, two breakfasts for two at Cafe ZuZu, and all taxes and gratuities included. Now that’s a deal.
Dine
At Trader Vic’s, happy hour (4-6 p.m., 9-11 p.m., daily) means hot deals on such appetizer faves as roasted garlic hummus, Chinese pork sliders and seared Hawaiian walu, plus a variety of drink specials, depending on what night you stop by. And all the ladies enjoy specials on drinks and appetizers at the bar on Wahine Nights (Thursdays). Cafe ZuZu has its own happy hour, comprised of more casual nibbles and bites, Mondays through Fridays, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Spa
Through the end of August, you can book a “Summer Tropics Spa Sampler” package for $100, allowing you to pick two 30-minute mini treatments from the following services:

- Coconut Lemongrass Foot Scrub
- Passion Fruit Citrus Back Massage
- Mango Fields Head.Hands.Feet Massage
- Hawaiian Plumeria Manicure or Pedicure
And through the end of the year, valid on Wednesdays, you can book any 60-minute treatment for $60 (regularly $125), or any 90-minute full-body massage or a 90-minute Ultimate Nail service for $90 (regularly $185). That’s just $1 per minute! Bonus: You’ll receive a free makeup application at the end of each of these services, normally $65.
And if you’re all for leaving things to chance, book a treatment on a Thermometer Thursday, when you pay whatever the temperature is outside at the time of your spa check-in.
