Celebrities and club-goers came to party at Tao, where Jeremih started his birthday celebration a few days early by hosting Worship Thursday at the hot spot. The singer, who turns 23 on Saturday, commanded a VIP table with friends, drinking Moet Rose Champagne and Ciroc and then thanked the crowd for coming out to his birthday party by surprising them with an impromptu performance.
Addressing the crowd he said, “I usually dedicate this song to a special lady in the crowd but tonight I’m gonna sing this one for me. It’s MY birthday so you know I wanna,” before launching into his No. 1 hit single “Birthday Sex.” He also wowed the club with his new release “Imma Star.”
Sitting at a table nearby was Spice Girl Mel B, her husband Stephen Belafonte and friends. Mel B filmed for her new Style Network show and drank Veuve Clicquot champagne while dancing to the sounds of DJ Five. Hypnotist Anthony Cools stopped by to join her at the table.
Also spotted at Tao was Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney. The soccer player dined at the Asian bistro with friends before heading up to the nightclub for Dom Perignon Rose Champagne and Grey Goose cocktails.
Ashley Benson from Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family dined at Tao with friends, enjoying sea bass and potstickers.
