Across the state, and especially in the Valley, lovers of colorful feminine clothing and accessories are getting mighty excited, and it has everything to do with Tory Burch. April will see the opening of the fashion designer’s first store in Arizona, and fans of the brand can hardly wait to see what styles the store will carry for this spring and summer.

Arizona fashionistas celebrated when the state’s first Barneys New York opened last fall. And now, on April 23, they’ll certainly swoon again at the opening of the Tory Burch boutique, housed inside Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Since establishing her first store in New York in 2004, Burch has expanded her line across the U.S. and even overseas. Her clothes and accessories are known for being classic, tailored, and practical, while also featuring bright colors and bold, cheerful prints. She cites the colorful homes of South Africa, Audrey Hepburn, and Bohemian styles among the influences reflected in her designs. Maybe it’s this meshing of wearability and playfulness that has made her collections appeal to women of all ages around the world. And with the many warm weather-loving transplants and vacationers here in Arizona, the brand’s casual chic vibe is sure to make the boutique an instant hit among women here too.

When the doors of the Scottsdale boutique finally open, shoppers can expect a 2,000-square-foot Tory Burch heaven. The Southwest-style décor will feature rustic oak beams, exotic reptile-print furnishings and, of course, the brand’s iconic orange lacquer doors and Lucite fixtures.

The addition of the Tory Burch boutique will bring Scottsdale Fashion Square’s total number of “first to market” retailers up to an impressive 51. Clearly, it’s the place to shop and be seen shopping.

Scottsdale Fashion Square is located at 7014-590 E. Camelback Rd. 480.945.5495
