Live in a Museum

I’m just kidding, it isn’t a museum but it is a mansion filled with art. George Lindemann Jr. one of the nations wealthiest men has put his Sunset Island home up for sale. The property named La Tranquilla, an 11,388 square foot home, lies on 1.63 acres of land. Designer by famed architect Maurice Fatio was in charge of creating this 1936 beauty.  The new owner would enjoy 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, an Olympic sized pool for those sweltering Miami days and nights, plus it is exceptionally located on the water and decorated with in neoclassical with a splash of contemporary.

And as any wealthy, philanthropist will tell you, the money is in the art. No report on whether the art stays or goes, but the structure alone will be enough to entice buyers to fork out the $29,900,750 asking price. That is unless the annual $210,269 in annual taxes and $15,000 in yearly homeowner association fees doesn’t scare them off.
