HB: How does the Endonasal Rhinoplasty work?
The procedure involves working on the nasal bridge, nasal tip and nasal bones all through small incisions hidden within the nostrils which allow the access. Through this access, the different aspects of the nose that need to be altered can be visualized.
HB: Who is a good candidate?
The best candidates are those patients who are seeking primary or first-time rhinoplasty surgery and are looking for natural changes to their nose and get back to their lives quickly with little downtime.
HB: Why do you prefer it to other methods?
I prefer it to other techniques and approaches because it involves no external scarring or incisions, less swelling and quicker recovery.
HB: What does recovery look like?
Recovery is about a week with some bruising and swelling that happens for that period of time. The patients have a nasal splint on their nose for about a week and then are able to return to work or school after the splint is removed.
