Dr. Baruch Jacobs has been recognized by The New York Times as “the plastic surgeon entrusted with keeping Miami Beach beautiful.” A board-certified Plastic Surgeon, he co-founded the Miami Beach Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Center in 1990 with his wife, Robin Jacobs. Over the years, the center has successfully treated more than 25,000 patients from around the globe, including numerous celebrities and dignitaries.
Dr. Jacobs is renowned for his exceptional skills in plastic and reconstructive surgery, particularly in all types of breast surgeries. His compassionate care and expertise have transformed the lives of countless patients, while his wife, Robin, and other specialized team members ensure that each patient receives personalized support.
Dr. Jacobs has sponsored and hosted numerous events aimed at raising awareness and providing resources for those affected by breast cancer. He has partnered with the City of Miami Beach and the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce for the annual “C-Note Dinner,” which funds the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides” campaign, supporting cancer research and patient resources. In 2024, he became an Ambassador for the American Cancer Society’s “Men Wear Pink” campaign, furthering efforts to support those impacted by cancer.
Dr. Jacobs earned his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 1981 and completed his General Surgery residency at Boston University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He then finished his plastic surgery residency at the renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation and received additional cosmetic surgery training at the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital in New York City.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Jacobs serves as an Assistant Clinical Instructor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Miami and is a former Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Miami Heart Institute. He holds privileges at various hospitals throughout Miami-Dade County and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well as board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Greater Miami Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Jacobs is dedicated to community service, advocating for breast cancer awareness, patient rights, and safety education, including dog bite prevention. He strives to create a safe and trustworthy environment for every patient who walks through his doors.
