January 19, 2012 marked the 79th opening-night gala of the San Francisco Ballet. The 2012 Repertory Season opened with“Bella Notte,” an elegant dinner at City Hall hosted by the San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary. Later in the evening, the SF Ballet presented a thrilling one-night-only performance at the War Memorial Opera House. Guests were then invited back to City Hall for a post-performance party, “La Dolce Vita,” with food, cocktails, and dancing.
