John Barrett Salon in New York City: Style in the Sky

As I step off the elevator of the 9th floor at Bergdorf Goodman at the John Barrett Salon. The views are staggering, stretched out before me is the park, in all of its splendor, the colors of the season lend a calm. I am met with smiles as I approach Parvin, whom has made me a true “Bergdorf Blonde” since 1999, and we exchange the stories of the day. People come to say hello, exchanging kisses, the arduous task of going to the salon melts away, as an espresso is brought to me and we chat as old girlfriends. Parvin’s following is epic, a true Royal to her trade, her clients travel far and wide for her magic touch of color. Whilst Iʼm awaiting my perfect shade of blonde to form, I relax, whilst Joan, Essie, Luda or Lyudmila, shape my manicures and pedicures to perfection; Mauricio is a true genius as he shapes my brows, to the point of nobility, and if there is a party on the horizon for the evening, he delicately applies Le Metitier de Beaute, in soft and sexy hues.
