Wondering what’s happening this May? Here are the events that should be on your radar.

Support the Alzheimer’s Association at Inspire Napa Valley, May 3-5. A weekend-long wine extravaganza at various locations in Napa put on by Kerrin Laz, the three-day affair includes a welcome dinner at Rudd Estate, a VIP tasting and wine seminar at the Napa Valley Reserve. Plus a farewell brunch at Thomas Keller’s Ad Hoc.

Broadway star Josh Groban is hosting his annual benefit, the Find Your Light celebration, to support arts education at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay on Saturday, May 4. Tony Bennett and Susan Benedetto will be honored at the festive sit-down dinner. Performances by Sarah McLachlan, Ben Folds, and Josh Groban will delight and inspire.

Wine and art blend seamlessly in Carneros at the Donum Estate, and there is no better way to experience both than at the Discover Donum event on Saturday, May, 11. Over 30 sculptures, from world-renowned artists like Keith Haring and Ai Weiwei are on display at the winery, and it only opens to the public once a year for this exclusive event.

Lazy Bear

On Monday, May 13, Alexander Terrazas of Jane, Harry Flager of Birdsong, Kim Conroy of Lazy Bear, Nicholas Muncy of Mina, and Nicole Krasinski of State Bird will cook a special five-course meal with beverage pairings. Proceeds from the star-studded dinner benefit Project Night Night, an organization that helps homeless kids sleep better.

The Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance invite wine lovers to experience the best that the region has to offer at Signature Sonoma Valley. From May 16 to 19, event host Antonio Galloni will lead a variety of tastings and discussions that give revelers an in-depth understanding of the history, wine-making techniques,  and vineyards of Sonoma.

Chef Nancy Oakes of Boulevard is the hostess with the mostest for the 32nd annual Star Chefs & Vintners Gala, a benefit for Meals on Wheels San Francisco on Sunday, May 19. The evening includes a reception, elaborate three-course meal, and dance party. With all of the city’s top chefs and star vintners participating, it is one of the most memorable events of the season.

There’s only one party that allows guests to explore all seven floors of the spectacular SFMOMA: Art Bash! This not to be missed event is going down Wednesday, May 22, from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., and features musical performances by A-Trak, Luna, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, unlimited food and drink, and fun activities. Plus, you’ll get access to Andy WarholFrom A to B and Back Again, the blockbuster exhibit that takes up three floors of the museum.

With headliners, Imagine Dragons, Neil Young, and Mumford & Sons, Wine Country’s very own music festival, BottleRock Napa Valley, promises to be bigger and better than ever. It takes place over Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26. The food and wine are just as outstanding as the musical acts, and the Williams-Sonoma culinary stage features demonstrations by some of the nation’s best chefs.

The Napa Valley Vintners, the association that puts on Auction Napa Valley is turning 75 this year and they are pulling out all the stops to host the most spectacular Auction Napa Valley ever, May 30 through June 2. Katy Perry will perform, and Ayesha Curry is cooking at this over-the-top fundraiser that is on every wine collector’s bucket list.
