Donald Pliner launched his eponymous line of luxury footwear in 1989. His success in the industry took off and by 2004 he was inducted into the Footwear News Hall of Fame. Though his corporate offices are in Manhattan, Donald and his wife Lisa, who is also the creative director for the brand, call Miami home.
