Porsche & La Marzocco Turned the Ducktail 911 Into a $7,911 Espresso Machine
The second collaboration pairs a Linea Micra and Pico grinder in historic RS 2.7 colors with cups, apparel and 1:18 model cars.
Porsche and La Marzocco are back behind the bar. On October 30, 2026, the two brands unveiled the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Collection, their second joint release after a 2024 debut — a limited-edition Linea Micra espresso machine and Pico coffee grinder dressed in the colors and details of the 1972 ducktail icon, plus a full run of cups, apparel and model cars.
The inspiration is well chosen. Porsche first presented the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 in 1972 as a homologation model limited to 500 units; it was the first 911 to carry the “Carrera” name and side lettering, and the fastest German production car of its day. Its rear spoiler earned the “ducktail” nickname, and the car has held cult status among collectors ever since.
“With our first joint collection in 2024, Porsche and La Marzocco showed how to seamlessly combine the worlds of sports cars, design, and coffee culture,” said Deniz Keskin, Director Brand Management and Partnerships at Porsche AG. “With the new collection, we are continuing this shared story and making fresh statements.”
Porsche and La Marzocco’s 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Collection, launched October 30, 2026, includes a $7,911 Linea Micra espresso machine (911 units each in Grand Prix White – Green and Tangerine – Black; 150 in Germany-only Grand Prix White – Blue), a $2,125 Pico grinder and lifestyle pieces from $59, sold via the Porsche Online Shop, select Porsche Centers and Porsche Design Stores.

The Linea Micra comes in three historic Porsche colorways: Grand Prix White – Green, Tangerine – Black and Grand Prix White – Blue. Each wears “Carrera RS” lettering with the historic Porsche logo, while the cup rail mimics the ducktail spoiler. The black handles are laser-engraved with “RS” and “2.7,” and the analog manometers, with red and green indicators, are styled in the Porsche look.
A magnetic “RS 2.7” badge finishes the face, and a side plaque reading “One of 911” spells out the scarcity. The Grand Prix White – Green and Tangerine – Black machines are each limited to 911 units; the Grand Prix White – Blue version is sold only in Germany and capped at 150. It is a detail-for-detail tribute, and the restraint shows — nothing here reads as a logo slapped on an appliance.

Under the livery is a genuine La Marzocco. The compact machine has a convertible 3-in-1 portafilter that switches between single, double and bottomless spouts, and a brew lever pairing paddle mechanics with an electric switch. There is an insulated steam wand, a two-liter water tank, LED barista lights and control through the La Marzocco Home app for temperature, settings and scheduling.
“A great espresso is never about just one thing. It comes from the care given to every detail, and from the way those details come together to create something special,” said Christopher Salierno, Chief Marketing Officer at La Marzocco. “Inspired by the iconic design of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7, we brought its spirit to the Linea Micra.”

The Pico grinder matches the machine’s design and adds an adjustable magnetic portafilter fork and an auto-close bean hopper. Around the pair sits a lifestyle range: handcrafted espresso and cappuccino cups, barista towels, coasters and coffee canisters; hoodies, T-shirts, caps and socks in Grand Prix White – Green and Tangerine – Black; and 1:18-scale models of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7, including a miniature coffee machine.
The collection premiered on October 29, 2026, at the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen. In the U.S., the Linea Micra is $7,911 and the Pico grinder $2,125; the hoodie runs $210, the 1:18 model car $485, the cappuccino set $115 and the cap $75.
