Girard-Perregaux Partners with Kobe Bryant For Fundraiser
On Sunday, April 22, the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation teamed up with the Swiss watch brand, Girard-Perregaux, where Kobe and Vanessa hosted a fundraiser for the foundation, which helps families in need through educational and cultural programs.
On Sunday, April 22, Kobe and Vanessa Bryant teamed up with Swiss watch brand, Girard-Perregaux to host a fundraiser for the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation which helps families in need through educational and cultural programs.
Over 60 guests, including Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, Jo Champa, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and more, came to the event held at the home of one of the foundation’s board members in Los Angeles.
“I am very happy Girard-Perregaux supports the work we are doing to address youth homelessness in Los Angeles,” Kobe said. “Their contributions are helping us make a real impact on the issue.”
All six of the board members-Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, Karyn Silver, Carol Cheng-Meyer, Aileen Getty and Patrick Soon-Shiong-were in attendance for the merry event.
The highlight of the night was the live auction with Andrea Fiuczynski from Christie’s. All of the proceeds from the auction went towards the foundation. Of the many pieces included in the auction was a custom Girard-Perregaux WW.TC Shadow timepiece, almost identical to the one worn by Kobe that event.
