W Magazine Sponsors “The Brooklyn Artists Ball” After-Party

On Wednesday, April 19, the Brooklyn Museum played host to “The Brooklyn Artists Ball,” an annual gala that this year celebrated the works of women artists and the fifth anniversary of the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art.  Following the Ball, a W Magazine sponsored after-party kicked off in the Beaux-Art’s building’s ground floor.

Guests sipped cocktails and glasses of the local favorite, Brooklyn Lager at the open bar while DJ Mia Moretti kept up the good vibrations with his music set.  Along with the festivities, the museum offered a sneak peak of the new cross-collection installation “Connecting Cultures: A World in Brooklyn.”

The list of artists and celebrities who attended the ball include Sarah Jessica Parker, artist Fred Wilson, artist Brad Kalhammer, Gossip Girl actor Matthew Settle, actress Maris Tomei, Hannah Bronfman and Carmen Zita.
