Beastie Boys’ Mike D To Curate High-End Art Show At The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art
Mercedes-Benz is looking to Hip-Hop Heavyweight Mike D. of the Beastie Boys to curate their Avant Garde Diaries festival in L.A.
The Transmission L.A.: AV Club show at Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art which runs from April 20 to May 6.
The New York native will bring his personal flavor and musical experience to the art world. He hopes to take art out of the museums, and make it more of a modern experience.
Recording artist pouring in from Coachella and art aficionados from around the globe will be sure to attend the star-studded event. A preview concert will be preformed by Santigold is slated, as well as numerous dance DJs to keep the party going.
