Audemars Piguet truly changed the game with the Royal Oak, the first luxury sports watch in Haute Horlogerie. Such an influential timepiece deserves to be celebrated in a major way, so the Royal Oak 40th anniversary celebrations continued last night at the Park Avenue Armory; also the home of the 4-day Royal Oak anniversary exhibit.
Helping to perpetuate the celebrations were Audemars Piguet’s President & CEO of North America, Francois-Henry Bennahmias and Administrator and Olivier Audemars, who were joined by guests including Super Bowl champion Victor Cruz, Katharine McPhee from NBC’s “Smash”, Dancing with the Stars’ Brooke Burke, David Charvet, Montreux Jazz Festival’s Claude Nobs, John Demsey and Colin Cowie. The 1,000 guests in attendance were entertained by a performance from The Irrepressibles and the Royal Oak exhibit, open to the public at the Armory for just one more day.
