Jamie Foxx, Ludacris, Jason Derulo, Guy Fieri And More Flock To Miami For 14th Annual Irie Weekend

The Monster Electronics 14th Annual Irie Weekend powered by South Florida Ford was full of excitement. A-listers flocked to the Magic City to give back as the philanthropic DJ Irie brought forth an unbeatable lineup of events for the annual Summer Kickoff party. Haute Living was a proud media sponsor of the high-profile affair. Celebrities in attendance throughout the weekend included Jason Derulo, Jamie Foxx, Ludacris, Josh Norman, Anthony Mackie, Sean Paul, Sharna Burgess, Jonathan Cheban, Guy Fieri, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, Justine Skye, Charissa Thompson and others. All proceeds from the weekend benefitted Irie’s personal foundation, the Irie Foundation, striving to serve the at-risk youth of South Florida and improve their lives through education and positive mentoring.

The weekend began with the kick-off event on Thursday evening, the Give From the Heart #InspIRIE Dinner & Gala, presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, taking place at the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel. FOX Sports’ Charissa Thompson hosted the lively event, which consisted of a cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, silent and live auction and a special performance by Sean Paul to close the evening.

The following day, the crew took the celebrations to Miami’s new Topgolf location in North Miami, holding the annual Celebrity Golf Tournament there for the first time ever. The new venue was the perfect place to enjoy a sunny Miami afternoon while turning up the competition on the golf range. Inside the venue, guests could enjoy the exclusive South Florida Ford lounge, which featured food and drinks, music and games while the golfers enjoyed tableside service at their Bays. Celebrity golfers including NSYNC’s Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, NFL players Lawrence Taylor (retired) Jonathan Vilma (retired), Dancing with the Stars finalist Sharna Burgess and Josh Norman and others who came out to support the event. Following the tournament, E11EVEN Music rolled out an incredible stage right on the green for an evening concert featuring Ludacris. Midway through his set, Ludacris welcomed actor, singer and entertainer extraordinaire Jamie Foxx on stage with DJ Irie to assist him in performing a barrage of hits. To finish off the evening, guests headed over to LIV to see rapper Gucci Mane take the stage along with DJ Diesel (aka Shaq) hit the DJ booth for a wild night.

Saturday afternoon was full of fun and food as TV personality Guy Fieri hosted the Samsung Spring Irie Weekend BBQ Bash at the Fontainebleau’s pool area. The chef whipped up some of his famed bbq eats for the excited crowd of guests while Justine Skye and Jason Derulo took the stage for amazing live performances. Later in the evening, 2Chainz and Diplo performed live sets to close the night.

And Sunday was another foodie-centric event, as Instagram’s Foodgöd, aka Jonathan Cheban, hosted a cheat-worthy brunch at the Fontainebleau for Irie Weekend’s closing event—Turn Down for Brunch. Cheban curated the entire brunch spread with tons of Instagram-worthy, indulgent eats like chicken and waffles, cheesy Dorito nachos, donuts and so much more. It was the perfect way to end an action-packed weekend full of fun and giving back.
