“I don’t know about you, but I feel sad. I feel anxious. I feel helpless. And it’s very easy to lose hope, but we can’t do that,” said DeGeneres.
She was quick to mention the heroic efforts of the first responders and community of Las Vegas noting people were lined up to donate blood at 4:30 in the morning they day after the massacre that happened on October 1, 2017 at 10:08 p.m.
“It is hard to do a show on a day a like this. When I wake up today I think ‘how am I going to do a show?’ But it’s also on days like this that I appreciate my job more than ever because I get to focus and shine a light on people that do good in the world.”
Just when you thought all is lost for humanity, Ellen releases a clip of people doing amazing and selfless things for one another. Kindness is the answer.
