Las Vegas Route 91 Shooting, Kills Over 50 Injures Over 400
Las Vegas Route 91 tragedy is now the number one deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
Over 400 people are injured and over 50 people were pronounced dead in Las Vegas on Oct 2. The Las Vegas Route 21 tragedy is now the number one deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
John Paddock, 64, shot 22,000 people attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival from the 32nd floor at the Mandalay Bay.
Approximately 11 rifles were found in his room according to Sheriff Joe Lombardo with the LVMPD (Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department).
It is believed Paddock had been staying at the Mandalay Bay since Sept. 28.
The killer was identified as a white male from Mesquite, Nevada. He opened fired on himself before LVMPD could get to him in a statement made by Lombardo.

The UMC hospital trauma center is at capacity. Injured were spread out to Sunrise Hospital and Desert Springs Medical Center.
The local transit Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada provided free evacuation transportation for people who were on The Las Vegas Strip.
Survivors of the Las Vegas Route 91 shooting are taking shelter at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Approximately one-hundred and fifty people are in the Foundation Room at the Mandalay Bay according to a source speaking live with the local news station Fox 5.
Deaths and injured expected to double according to local news.
Update: As of Oct. 4 the numbers have risen to 59 dead, 527 injured.
