News | July 30, 2012

Nicolas Roldan was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His father, Raul Roldan, was also a professional polo player. Under his father’s influence, Nicolas loved horses and learned how to ride at four. Despite being surrounded by the world of polo, Nic’s first love was hockey. But fate would have it otherwise. By the time he was the age of 14, Nic began playing professionally, and at 15 he competed in one of the most competitive and prominent polo tournaments in the world, the US Open Polo Championship. He earned the status of an internationally known polo player. He is one of the top American Polo Players in the United States and is listed as the youngest player to ever win the US Open in the Polo Hall of Fame. Not only has he had great success in playing polo, but he is also signed to Wilhelmina Models and has been featured in several magazines.
