Warm Halloumi cheese mixed with grilled treviso, citrus, and honey thyme vinaigrette. Crispy pizza topped with vegan Daiya cheese. These are a just a few selections from Susan Feniger’s STREET, which revolves around iconic global cuisine items. The new menu, executed by Chef/Co-owner Kajsa Alger, features delicious delicacies from all over the world as well as over twenty vegan and vegetarian options.

With its many options, STREET higlights street food inspirations and influences. The restaurant’s dinner menu emphasizes communal dining with seven different categories, including Izakaya and Asian Pub Food, Pizza of the Day, Meatballs and Fritters, Veggie Sides, Korean BBQ, Salads, and Classic Street. The Izakaya and Asian Pub Food has selections such as mung bean pancakes garnished with scallion, kimchi, and shitake as well as a brown rice sushi roll filled with umeboshi, apple, and burdock. Alger has cooked up new additions to the Veggie Sides category, with courses like Roman broccoli plus white beans with garlic, chile, olive oil, and pecorino as well as coal roasted green artichoke with wild oregano sauce. Lastly, dishes in the Classic Street category continue Fengier’s emphasis on flavors from around the world. Favorites include Kaya toast layered with coconut jam, egg, dark soy, and white pepper; Paani Puri semolina puffs filled with spiced potato, yogurt, sprouted beans, and cilantro mint water; and the spicy black bean veggie burger garnished with pea shoots, smashed avocado, tomato, and toasted sourdough.
