Some openings feel inevitable in the best possible way. Casa Tua’s arrival in Italy is one of them. Founded in Miami Beach in 2001 by Miky Grendene and Leticia Herrera-Grendene, Casa Tua has always been rooted in an Italian soul — in the belief that the finest hospitality doesn’t impress you; it embraces you. Twenty-five years later, the brand has finally found its way back to the country that inspired it all, landing at one of Capri’s most storied addresses: Hotel La Palma.

The partnership pairs two institutions that share the same instinct. Hotel La Palma, Capri’s first hotel — originally built in 1822 and recently transformed into a 50-room-and-suite masterpiece by interior designer Francis Sultana — sits just steps from the famous Piazzetta. As an Oetker Hotels property, it carries the same standard of elegance and belonging that has defined the portfolio from Le Bristol Paris to Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. For the Grendenes, choosing it felt less like a decision and more like a recognition.

Casa Tua Capri opens across four distinct venues, each with its own character and rhythm. The Casa Tua Restaurant, which opened April 16th, is the heart of the experience — an all-day dining destination built around Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, exceptional ingredients, and the kind of warmth that makes every hour feel like an invitation. Breakfast begins at 7 AM, flowing seamlessly through lunch and into dinner until 1 AM, with the bar open from midday to close, seven days a week.

Come May, the rooftop comes alive. Fuoco by Casa Tua opens May 15th, high above the island with views over the Bay of Naples that qualify as their own course. The concept is built around elemental contrast — wood-fired dishes prepared in full view of guests alongside crudos and sushi composed tableside with precision. As the light fades and the music rises, Fuoco operates as equal parts restaurant, lounge, and happening, open nightly from 6:30 PM to midnight.

At the water’s edge in Marina Piccola, Mare by Casa Tua opens May 21st as the brand’s beach club and restaurant. The pace here is entirely different — unhurried mornings on the water, lunch anchored by the catch of the day, and the particular ease of being entirely present in one of the world’s most beautiful settings. Open daily from 9 AM to 6:30 PM, with lunch from noon to 4 PM and weekend dinner service beginning June 5th.

Rounding out the portfolio later this summer, The Club at Casa Tua arrives as the most intimate of the four — a room suited to an aperitivo before dinner or a nightcap that stretches later than planned. Cicchetti, considered cocktails, and an atmosphere where time feels pleasantly irrelevant. Open nightly from 6:30 PM to close.

It’s no secret that Casa Tua has always been more than a restaurant group. From the historic Miami Beach villa that started it all to Casa Tua Cucina in Brickell City Centre, the brand has built something rarer than a following — it’s built a feeling. Capri, with its golden light and its long tradition of welcoming the world’s most discerning travelers, is exactly where that feeling belongs.

The Haute Read

Casa Tua, the Miami-born lifestyle and hospitality brand founded in 2001 by Miky Grendene and Leticia Herrera-Grendene, opens its first Italian location in Capri in April 2026. The debut is a partnership with Hotel La Palma, an Oetker Hotels property located at Via Vittorio Emanuele 39, Capri, Italy. Casa Tua Capri spans four venues: Casa Tua Restaurant (open April 16, 2026), Fuoco by Casa Tua rooftop (open May 15, 2026), Mare by Casa Tua beach club (open May 21, 2026), and The Club at Casa Tua (opening summer 2026). The opening marks Casa Tua’s 25th anniversary and its first expansion into Europe.
