Pink and Van Der Bauwede Genève Make Time for Breast Cancer Awareness

What happens when a Swiss horologist meets an outspoken songstress? Maxence Van Der Bauwede, designer of Van Der Bauwede Genève, and singing sensation, Pink, have teamed up in support of breast cancer awareness. Maxence and Pink were introduced in August, while the star was in Copenhagen for her Funhouse Carnival Tour. Pink was charmed by the beautiful-yet-mysterious Van Der Bauwede Good Luck Watch, ergo a partnership was instantaneously born. Per Pink’s request, Van Der Bauwede Genève agreed to donate proceeds from the watch to a charity of her picking. The VDB Good Luck Watch will be auctioned off at the Pink Diamond Gala and all proceeds from the evening will be benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Each Van Der Bauwede Genève watch has been created unique in itself, and the Good Luck Watch, which retails for $9,900, is no exception. Powerful and enchanting, the watch complements Pink’s vibrant lifestyle. A case set in precious stones in subtly graded shades surrounds a femine and enigmatic dial. The diamond-dusted dial echoes a dramatic “Moulin Rouge” world, juxtaposed with an adventurous “Jack Sparrow” mood. The mother-of-pearl embellishment and floral motifs lend a feminine mystique to a dial stage-setting, enlivened by tattoo-like print and a gem-set heart.

Van Der Bauwede Genève presents 15 elegant timepiece collections and an assortment of jewelry and diamond collections, purely Swiss made from the finest of materials.

Van Der Bauwede Genève is located at the Village of Merrick Park, 370 San Lorenzo Ave., Suite 2425, Coral Gables, Fla., 305.444.5310; www.vdbusa.com.
