High Rollers of Sin City

A Place to Rest Your Head

No one ever really sleeps in Sin City, but you still deserve accommodations that denote elegance and ooze with ambiance fit for royalty. Egyptian cotton sheets and a bottle of Louis XIII de Rémy Martin waiting in the suite in the sky upon arrival? But, of course. While anyone can show up on the doorstep of these luxury resorts and take advantage of the over-the-top amenities, the particular accommodations mentioned here are reserved for a special breed of traveler: one who demands-and has the means to afford-the very best.

The Fairway Villa at Wynn

It’s hard to achieve a wow factor in Vegas, where everyone has seen it all and done it all before. But somehow Steve Wynn managed to drop the jaws of the most elite tastemakers when he opened the doors on his first glittering gold edifice in the sky. Earning the coveted awards from Mobil and AAA, Wynn Las Vegas is the only casino resort across the globe to boast both five stars and five diamonds, in addition to the prestigious Five Red Pavilion award from the Michelin Guide.

But all of that aside, you’re in Vegas baby and ready for a personal escort to your private check-in at the Wynn’s Fairway Villa, where you will be lapped up in the luxuries to which you have grown accustomed. At 3,224 square feet, the two-bedroom private abode pampers the posh with a massage room, his and hers baths with glass-enclosed rain showers, chromatherapy lighting (a theraputic method using light and color to promote health and wellness), and dual closets. With so much pleasure to be had in the resort itself, we doubt you will even notice the televisions, but just for effect we should mention that a 52-inch plasma high-def adorns the living room, while a 42 incher can be found in the boudoir. The view of the golf course is the most relaxing way to recover from the flight and rejuvenate your senses before embarking on your first night of debauchery on the Vegas Strip.

The Salon Suite at Encore

Because the Wynn opened nearly four years ago, many of our luxury lovers are quite familiar with all of the pampering that awaits them as a five-star guest. So for those who are itching to try something new, Wynn’s sister property, Encore, is right next door, offering the same white-glove service that has come to be associated with the Steve Wynn brands. Though a pinch smaller than Wynn’s Fairway Villa, the Salon Suite at Encore still offers 2,261 square feet of space. Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the dramatic views of the City of Lights, and when it all becomes too bright, close yourself off from the world with automatic bedside drapery and lighting controls. After a fun-filled day of activities drains your energy, sink into the pillow-top mattresses covered in 100 percent Egyptian cotton, 310-thread-count linens for a rejuvenating power nap. Flat panel televisions come in all sizes, from 46 inches to 65 inches, and personal relaxation and maintenance services including massages, manicures, pedicures, and hair styling, can all be performed in the comfort and luxury of your private quarters.

The Presidential Suite at The Palazzo
Resort Hotel Casino

Vegas is a town all about numbers, so for those who are turned on by the language of digits, the Presidential Suite at The Palazzo has them in spades. The opulence of the four-bedroom luxury lodging is in the décor: a $30,000 custom silk and wool area rug in the living room, $8,000 Jimmy Manheim custom dining table, $12,000 J. Robert Scott hand-blown chandelier, and more than $1 million worth of furniture and finishes such as custom armoires by Lewis Mittman in zebrawood. Additional space includes separate rooms for media, massage, and exercise needs. A glass fireplace and Jacuzzi spa grace the terrace, creating the perfect ambiance for a candlelit night of Champagne-filled romance.

Skylofts at MGM Grand

A recent addition to the Mobil Five-Star family, Skylofts at MGM Grand can now count itself among the elite group that Mobil describes as providing superlative service in an exceptionally distinctive luxury environment. Superlative service at Skylofts at MGM Grand comes in the form of a spa butler who prepares the bath experience with oils, music, candlelight, and aromatherapy; a dream butler to attend to pillow needs, herbal tea requests, and soothing sleepy-time music desires; and the industry’s first-ever music butler who can tune your iPod and serve as a personal technical guru in attending to the custom Bang & Olufsen audio system. The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath loft, which carries a price tag of $3,800 to $10,000 per night, measures 6,000 square feet, with a wall of windows rising up 24 feet. Entertainment isn’t only found in the casinos, as the billiards and media rooms are the perfect place to host your own private party. When it’s finally time to check out of the splendid abode, the only stylish way to shuttle back to the airport is in the complimentary Maybach 62.

The Presidential Suites at the Four Seasons

Somewhat off of the beaten path is where visitors to Vegas will find the relaxing serenity that defines the Four Seasons Las Vegas. Located at the south end of The Strip, the Four Seasons prides itself not only as a desert oasis, but also as a distinctively calming alternative to the flashy, oftentimes cheesy resorts commonly associated with Sin City. Far from boring, guests wishing to retreat from the peace and join in the revelry can access all of the amenities at Mandalay Bay Resort by way of the skybridge. The Four Seasons brand is renowned for world-class accommodations, and the two Presidential Suites at the Vegas property do not disappoint with up to 4,400 square feet of lavish space. The foyer of the three-bedroom suite envelops guests upon entry, directing attention to the expansive living room that is outfitted with a baby grand piano and the elegant dining room, which can seat eight. Though slightly smaller in scale but equally as breathtaking are the five 180-Degree Suites, which sprawl out over 3,255 square feet. Because luxury is paramount at the Four Seasons, these exclusive suites are sure to meet the needs of the most discerning travelers.

The Villas at Bellagio

The name Bellagio invokes images of classic luxury in a modern era. For a rare Vegas experience, the Villas at Bellagio accommodate clients who live a life enveloped in the finer things, like marble foyers and custom glass chandeliers. The nine private villas are discreetly tucked away in a quiet corner on the property, providing the utmost privacy. The largest of the villas is 8,000 square feet, available with three bedrooms, seven baths, a personal terrace with fireplace, and pool. Opulent features and services that earned the Villas mentions in Forbes include rainforest Swiss steam showers, whirlpool therapeutic baths, massage rooms, personal workout rooms, dry and steam saunas, and a private hair salon.

Sky Suites at Aria Resort & Casino

Perched atop the upcoming Aria Resort & Casino, the Sky Suites will accentuate a heightened sense of luxury, nature, and consciousness when it officially opens to guests just in time for the holidays in mid-December. As part of the grand CityCenter development, the Pelli Clarke Pelli-designed resort will contrast the edginess of steel and glass on its exterior with the softness of plants, wood, and stone in its interior. From the airport, Sky Suite guests can expect an alternative-fuel limousine to whisk them into a porte cochere entry to the exclusive Aria Sky Suites lounge. Once there, guests can take in the lavish and natural ambiance, sip a cocktail, and enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres before boarding a private-access elevator to one of the resort’s five suite styles, which can be as large as 2,000 square feet. Suites will be available in one- and two-bedroom units and will offer custom, contemporary-style furnishings, spa-quality bathrooms, and one-touch features such as dimmable lighting and advanced entertainment. Floor-to-ceiling windows will automatically part upon entry to reveal magnificent aerial views of Las Vegas. Sky Suite guests will be hard-pressed to venture off site, however, as CityCenter will boast a gaming facility, three pools, 16 restaurants, a two-level spa, and an 1,800-seat theater.
