Global hospitality group sbe, who just recently announced its new strategic partnership with AccorHotels, has revealed its latest upcoming luxury property in Florida, SLS Resort Residence & Marina in Hallandale Beach. In partnership with PPG Development Group, this hotel marks the sbe’s 12th property in the state, bringing forth the brand’s signature luxury lifestyle accommodations to North Miami’s Hallandale Beach. The location will be taking over the former Diplomat Golf & Tennis Club, a historic site in South Florida. The brand-new, $220 million project will debut in 2022, featuring sbe signature restaurant/bars including Katsuya and S Bar, as well as 50 condo/hotel units and 250 branded apartments.

The stunning property is situated on 8 acres of lakes and rolling fairways, providing the perfect oasis of luxury living with the perks of South Florida for residents and guests at their beck and call. Exclusive to the new project, SLS Resort Residence & Marina Hallandale Beach will feature an 18-hole championship golf course, a 10-court tennis complex and 48-slip Marina, perfect for the property’s proximity to the sea. Its strategic location bridges the gap between South Florida’s most prominent cities including Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Aventura. The professional golf course will boast stellar design from pro-golfer Greg Norman, featuring four par-5 holes and a 570-yard hole that is one of the longest in South Florida.

The SLS is one of sbe’s marquee brands in its ever-expanding collection, and the SLS Resort Residence & Marina Hallandale Beach will serve as the fourth SLS-branded property in Florida (and 7th total), following the success of its counterparts including SLS South Beach, SLS Brickell and SLS LUX Brickell, all located in Miami. There are 25 more SLS-branded properties slated on the pipeline for the next few years, debuting in top cities around the globe.

The greater Miami area has become a fundamental portion of the sbe brand, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce this project, our twelfth property and third Katsuya in the market,” said Sam Nazarian, Founder and CEO of sbe. “It is a privilege to partner with the seasoned developer and industry leader Ari Pearl, who has our same vision for the property. Together, we’re ready to execute on that vision and create a premier destination resort and residences. It is truly an honor to bring our vision to a landmark property that has hosted legends like Woody Allen, Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Ronald Reagan.”
