Harbour Club Reinvents Itself in Miami Beach, With Antonio Bachour by Day and a Michelin Alum at Dinner
Harbour Club Miami Beach relaunches its restaurant with Antonio Bachour breakfast, lunch and brunch, plus Bogdan Danila dinner from Nov. 10.
Harbour Club, the Sunset Harbour members club and restaurant at 1766 Bay Road in Miami Beach, is entering its third season with a full repositioning. Candidly, as a loyal Sunset Harbour resident myself, I couldn’t be more excited for this ‘re-brand’—if you will. Its ground-floor dining room has been reintroduced as The Restaurant at Harbour Club, now open to the public for breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Friday and for an extended brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Beginning November 10, the restaurant adds dinner, served from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m., completing its evolution from a daytime neighborhood spot into a morning-to-evening destination.

The repositioning follows the direction of club owners Frankie Santos and Luis Simoes, who have reimagined both the restaurant and the members-only clubhouse upstairs. The newly imagined dining room seats 80 guests indoors, with wraparound bistro-style seating outdoors overlooking the neighborhood. Pastry Chef Antonio Bachour has created the breakfast and lunch menus, while Executive Chef Bogdan Danila leads dinner.

The pair bring decades of experience from London’s most exclusive hospitality venues. Santos became the youngest beverage manager in The Ritz London’s history before continuing at the Birley Club and The Twenty Two London, while Simoes, who launched Chiltern Firehouse alongside Santos, went on to oversee U.S. properties including Château Marmont, The Mercer and Sunset Beach. Together they relaunched Annabel’s and transformed The Roof Gardens in Kensington into one of London’s leading private members’ clubs. “After watching the success of our second season, we knew we could do so much more,” said Santos and Simoes. “Sunset Harbour has embraced us, and we want to give the neighborhood a place they can return to throughout the day, whether that’s a weekday breakfast, a long weekend brunch or a celebratory dinner. Upstairs, we’ve created a clubhouse that feels like a true home for our members, and we know our restaurant guests and members alike will love what’s in store at Harbour Club.”
By day, the kitchen belongs to Bachour, who brings his signature artistry to the morning and midday table. Saturday and Sunday brunch brings breakfast and lunch together and adds his sweeter side. “For me, creating the breakfast, lunch, and brunch concept at Harbour Club is about bringing together my passion for pastry and my love for gastronomy,” said Bachour. “I wanted to create a menu that celebrates fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, bold flavors, and creativity, while keeping the food approachable and enjoyable. My goal is to elevate the daytime dining experience, transforming breakfast and lunch into something truly special.” Readers who know the pastry chef’s work from his Design District table will recognize the ambition.

Dinner opens with house staples for the table, including local Miami Brewery sourdough with a bone marrow butter candle and a caviar crêpe, followed by a raw bar of oysters with margarita ice and hamachi with passion fruit. Tableside moments include a Caesar and a shrimp martini presented from the martini cart. Mains range from whole roasted Florida snapper Veracruz and Dover sole meunière to spiny lobster rigatoni and a 32-ounce dry-aged ribeye for two, served with sauces such as béarnaise, Café de Paris and the house Harbour Club hot sauce.

Danila brings more than 20 years in Michelin-starred and fine dining kitchens across Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States. He trained in Dublin at Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud and Restaurant L’Ecrivain before serving as chef de cuisine at Gordon Ramsay’s Restaurant Petrus in London, where Zagat UK named him one of its Top 30 Under 30, and as executive sous chef at Pollen Street Social during the year it earned its Michelin star. In New York, he led the kitchen at The Clocktower at the Edition Hotel to one Michelin star, and later served as group executive chef for D&D London’s Queensyard at Hudson Yards and Bluebird at Columbus Circle. In South Florida, he was culinary director of Boca Raton’s Broken Sound Club through its $40 million renovation and reopening.
“At The Restaurant at Harbour Club, guests can look forward to a dining experience that celebrates exceptional ingredients, refined European cuisine and the vibrant spirit of Miami,” said Danila. “Whether guests are joining us for an intimate dinner or an evening among friends, every visit will feel special, effortless and worth returning for.” It is the latest addition to a neighborhood dining scene that already includes A Pasta Bar and Carrot Express.
Harbour Club's third season turns its ground floor into a true morning-to-evening restaurant: Bachour pastries and brunch by day, and from November 10, a Michelin-trained Bogdan Danila dinner of caviar crêpes, tableside shrimp martinis and a 32-ounce dry-aged ribeye for two.
