Everyone loves video games, including some of your favorite celebrities. On November 6th, Xbox had some of the biggest stars and celebrity gamers for its Xbox One X Launch Event in New York City to celebrate the long-awaited release of the new Xbox One X console, which became available at midnight on November 7th.

Stars such as Shaquille O’Neal, Conan O’Brien, Liam Payne, Ronda Rousey, Caleb McLaughlin, Odell Beckham Jr. and Matt Forte surprised fans at the 5th Avenue Microsoft Flagship Store as they waited for the console’s release. A few lucky fans were even pulled into the store to challenge each celebrity on the Xbox One X.

Throughout the evening, Payne and McLaughlin joined Xbox Live Sessions, an interactive livestream hosted on the Mixer Xbox channel to play Xbox titles such as Minecraft and Forza Motorsport 7. Afterward, the group attended the Xbox One X Launch Event with other NYC celebrity guests including Leslie Jones, Kenan Thompson, Method Man, Vanessa Bayer, Mikey Day, Beck Bennett, Geoffrey Arrend, Jerry Ferrara and many more.

Over the past week, Xbox has hosted events in Nashville, Vancouver, Atlanta and Los Angeles offering Xbox fans the chance to feel the true power of 4K gaming ahead of the Xbox One X official release November 7.
