Dubai is warming up, and accordingly, Opera Gallery is proud to introduce its “Summer Mix” exhibition. Throughout the summer, the gallery will feature an eclectic mix of bright and colorful art pieces from international contemporary artists. This is a more light-hearted approach to curation, with the emphasis being put of vibrancy of colors, use of new materials and choice of subject treated.
New pieces will be put on display and rotated in the gallery throughout the summer, ending in August 2016. Alongside contemporary art, Opera Gallery will keep on showcasing some of its Masters collection, including Picasso, Botero, Chagall and Miro to name a few.
Founded in 1994 with exhibition spaces in Singapore and Paris by French art dealer Gilles Dyan, Opera Gallery Group is today comprised of eleven galleries worldwide with additional locations in London, Geneva, Monaco, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, Dubai, Beirut, Miami and New York.
Since its inception the gallery has presented a program of major modern and contemporary works by predominately established artists, showcasing its expansive collection of works in dialogue with a contemporary visual language. Realized through an annual program of exhibitions, each gallery promotes a cross-cultural exchange of modern and contemporary artists.
The Opera Gallery is located in the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC); Gate Village, Building #3. Their hours of operation are: Sunday – Wednesday – 10am – 10pm; Thursday 10am to midnight; Friday 2pm to 9pm and Saturday 11am – 9pm.
