WESTIME CELEBRATES KRIS JENNER’S HAUTE LIVING MAGAZINE COVER

Haute Living Magazine, partnering with Westime, the premiere luxury watch retailer in Southern California, celebrated Kris Jenner and her August/September cover of Haute Living New York with a VIP soiree attended by her family and close friends at Nobu Malibu on Aug. 24th. Kris, 59, arrived wearing a custom-made, bell-sleeved Christian Siriano minidress with boyfriend Corey Gamble and Lisa Miles, a close girlfriend. Guests at the event were welcomed with flutes of the champagne Charles Mignon “Cuvée Billionaires Row” Brut Rosé Grand Cru before sitting down to a paired three-course tasting dinner outside on Nobu’s patio that included signature items like Nobu’s black cod miso and shishito peppers. Kendall Jenner was the first to arrive and all daughters aside from Khloe Kardashian—including Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner (sans boyfriend Tyga)—were on hand to toast their mother. A pregnant Kim Kardashian West surprised her mother at the fete—she had originally told Kris she wouldn’t be able to make it. Toward the end of the meal, Haute Living publisher Kamal Hotchandani stood to raise a glass to Kris, saying, “Haute Living celebrates greatness, and that’s why we’re here tonight.” VIPs at the event included Westime founder and Hublot boutique owner John Simonian, Jeff Leatham, artistic director of the Georges V (Four Seasons Paris), pastor Rich Wilkerson and his wife Cherie, The One Group’s Celeste Fierro, Shelli Azoff, Joyce and Larry Kraines, Sheila and Randy Kolker, Haute Living Executive Editor Laura Schreffler, Carla DiBello, Nassir Alamaman, Begum and Adnan Sen, Hande and Haken Karadayl and Friars Club director Elizabeth Silver.

On August 25th, THEALIST’s Ashlee Margolis and Dan Fishman hosted a No Kid Hungry breakfast celebration at their Beverly Hills home. Jordana Brewster, Michelle Monaghan, Selma Blair, Abigail Spencer, and more were on hand to kick off back-to-school and celebrate its efforts to help end childhood hunger in America. Blair, who’s plus one was her 4-year old son Arthur, shared her feelings on childhood hunger. “We have such an abundance of food and there is no reason why it should still be an issue today, yet it exists. The more we are aware of it and the more we help spread the message, the more powerful the message like No Kid Hungry can be. “It’s crazy, because most people do not realize that it is happening right here in our backyard,” Brewster said. The actress was dressed in a royal blue plaid Madewell jumper matched well with nude sandals.

On August 26th, stylist Jamie Schneider hosted an intimate summer dinner with beauty and grooming retailer Birchbox at her home in Los Angeles. Attendees included Ashley Benson, Rashida Jones, jewelry designer Anita Ko, Kelly Sawyer, Erin Foster, stylist Estee Stanley, Hilary Tisch, Masha Gordon, Sophia Rossi, Nikki Erwin, Sarah Meyer, Johnny Wujek, Sophie Lopez,  and Samantha Ronson. WALK WITH SALLY’S WHITE LIGHTS, WHITE NIGHTS PARTY

Walk With Sally, a non-profit based in Los Angeles, CA is committed to providing healing and comfort to children debilitated by the emotional experience of living with or losing a parent or sibling to cancer. This healing is facilitated through free of charge mentoring support programs and services that provide an emotionally safe environment for children to share their difficult experience with someone who has suffered the same. On August 22, guests were encouraged to wear white and enjoy several aspects throughout the event, including live music from Super Diamond [The Neil Diamond Tribute], red carpet with celebrities in attendance, VIP experiences, along with gourmet bites from over 20 restaurants during the Taste of Los Angeles. The festivities also included specialty cocktails and a local craft beer garden and boutique wine garden. Throughout the evening Walk With Sally hosted a silent and live auction which led to a net profit of more than $220,000 raised. KCAL 9 News Reporter, Serene Branson hosted the evening and presented The Beacon of Light Award which honors individuals who give above and beyond year after year to help grow Walk With Sally’s mission, was presented to Todd Klawin of Our Media Group, LLC and South Bay Magazine for all of his hard work and support throughout the years. Serene also honored Maureen McBride and mentee, Isabel “Izzy” Ramirez who were both honored with the Friendship of the Year Award. Maureen, who lost her father to lymphoma in 1998, was matched with Izzy more than eight years ago through Walk With Sally. Other attendees included KTLA Cher Calvin, Dallas Cowboy’s James Anderson, ESPN Sports Reporter Arash MarkaziGood Day LA Liz Habib, Fit TV’s Devin AlexanderFood Network Star Adam Gertler, Framework’s Nolen Niu, beauty media maven Dawn McCoy and the stunning American Fitness Instructor, Denise Austin.
