Surf Air Offers Private Air Travel Membership for Californians

Surf-Air-Pilatus

Those who prefer flying to driving definitely need to check out an innovative new service that offers its members unlimited sky travel in SoCal.

The California-based Surf Air is capturing a new market by offering an executive membership service for the flat fee of $1350 per month.

There are only four cities that the airline currently flies to – Burbank, San Carlos, Santa Barbara and Hawthorne – but Las Vegas and Truckee, Nevada will be added by May.

Surf Air is relatively new to the aviation game. It started its services last year and currently has a fleet of six Swiss-made Pilatus PC-12 planes; its CEO is Jeff Potter.

There are 18 flights a day, and members can fly as often as they please; reserving a seat takes less than 30 seconds and can be done through your Smartphone or Android. Conversely, there is also an airline concierge who can help to book your travel.

Like many great things, there is an initiation fee, though for those that are truly Haute, the $500 one-time fee is nothing.

So get ready to settle down into the BMW-designed leather seats, sit back and enjoy the ride (flight).
