1 Macaroni & Cheese at Mélisse

The macaroni & cheese at Mélisse in no way, shape or form resembles anything from Kraft. The Michelin-starred French restaurant’s indulgent take on your favorite comfort food features fresh tagliatelle pasta topped with oodles of Parmesan cheese, brown-butter truffle froth, and shaved white truffles. It will run you $95 due to its rich, seasonal truffles (it's only available October-December), but it's well worth it to recreate your childhood food fantasy in such a haute way.

2 Buttermilk Biscuits at The Peninsula's Belvedere Restaurant

If you're in need of some Southern comfort food, The Belvedere at the Peninsula Beverly Hills is the place to find it. Start your day off right with the Buttermilk Biscuits, which simply ooze self-indulgent goodness. The dish comes complete with chicken, sun-dried tomato sausages, organic eggs, baby spinach and aged Beemster cheese. It's heavenly.

3 The Office Burger at Father's Office

The cheeseburger at Father's Office is decadent, delicious and completely comforting. Settle in for a pint of craft beer and sink your teeth into this meaty confection, which comes with caramelized onion, applewood bacon gruyere, maytag blue and arugula. Yum.

4 Gorgonzola Dolce Pizza at Pizzeria Mozza

Pizzeria Mozza makes some of the best pies you'll be likely to find in LA. Their Gorgonzola Dolce with fingerling potatoes, radicchio and rosemary is one of our favorites, though truly you can't go wrong with any slice created by Chef Nancy Silverton.

If you aren't in the mood for the works, there are ice cream sandwiches, cookies and pastries to make your mood just a little bit sweeter as well.
