LeBron James finally married his high school sweetheart and long-time girlfriend Savannah Brinson on Saturday night in San Diego. While the wedding has been on our radar for quite some time, details have been shrouded in secrecy, even to the guests! The festivities began for the three-day affair on Friday with a barbecue at Grand Del Mar. Big name attendees included Miami Heat owner Micky Arison, Carmello Anthony and wife La La and team mates Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and girlfriend Gabriella Union. There was even a surprise performance of “Crazy in Love” by guests Jay-Z and Beyonce.
But don’t expect to see any leaked images, cell phones were barred, yes barred from the ceremony and ensuing extravaganza so we can only assume it was quite over-the-top. James was quoted earlier in the year as saying that is mission was to insure “that Savannah gets whatever she wants on her day, the wedding day she always dreamed of.” Sunday morning the party continued with a lavish brunch.
