As this year’s Coachella festival draws nearer, retailers are taking note and opening pop-up shops in California in an effort to be the “go-to source” for festival goers. High-end department store Bloomingdale’s has just announced they will be opening Coachella boutiques within each of its California stores.
In addition to Bloomingdale’s new offering of Coachella-inspired merchandise, LA Racked reports that Free People, Planet Blue, stylehaus and Madison LA have all also added “cut-off, tie-dye and fringe” apparel in anticipation of Coachella 2013.
Bloomingdale’s new Coachella boutiques within their California department stores will offer apparel such as “Rag & Bone cut-offs, Rebecca Minkoff crossbody minis,” pieces from Hudson, Parker, Marc by Marc Jacobs, J Brand, Free People, Lily Aldridge for Velvet, Paige, Rails, 7 For All Mankind, Alice + Olivia, Rebecca Taylor, and more. Exclusive tees created just for this shop from Wildfox will also be available.
