Anderson Ranch Arts Center Lights Up During Open House

Anderson Ranch Arts Center’s Holiday Open House on Tuesday was a huge success, with art-lovers, families and holiday revelers in attendance at the snowy, luminaria-lit 4.5-acre campus in Snowmass. Thirteen artists-in-residence showed work along with international and national artists, and the site-specific wall drawing, Nostalgia, by artist Laura Scandrett closed its show. Guests were treated to open studio tours, ornament making and a trunk show featuring Melange collection at the ArtWorks store. The evening was topped off with a live auction and dinner.

Anderson Ranch Arts Center is an artistic enclave that welcomes more than 1,300 adult and children students to its workshop each year. Participants and residents study multiple interest areas including: ceramics, film and digital photography, new media, drawing & painting, woodworking & furniture design, printmaking, sculpture, and woodturning. Founded more than 40 years ago, the 14-building campus is a serene escape for artists of all types.
